Any Linux distribution running SELinux security must disable SELinux and reboot. Setting SELinux to Permissive mode may work but has not been tested on all systems so disabling it is preferred.

On Windows and Mac OSes, if you install LINA over an existing Virtual Box installation, your existing configuration will be replaced! If you want to retain your VirtualBox installation/Configuraion you should rename it or move it to another location prior to installation.

Installing LINA on a Mac running Parallels caused a system freeze during installation. To succeed, quit Parallels, cleanup the remains of the partial installation and retry the installation. See the specific "Cleaning Up" section,below.
